Child Care of Southwest Florida announces infant open enrollment at Joseph H. Messina Center

Child Care of Southwest Florida has announced open enrollment to infants for the first time at its Joseph H. Messina Center, located at 4650 Fowler St. in Fort Myers.

The Joseph H. Messina Center has expanded its services and offers a newly furnished infant classroom, welcoming infants from ages six weeks through 12 months along with their siblings. With a commitment to providing quality care for the youngest members of our community, the center offers an open-door policy and flexible daily schedule to meet the needs of each individual family. Nursing mothers are also encouraged to breastfeed at any time with access to private spaces if needed.

Along with this expansion, scholarships will also be available to ensure that all families, regardless of financial circumstances, have access to high-quality care.

“Our team is looking forward to welcoming even more families and their infants to our Messina Center,” said Chris Hansen, CEO of Child Care of Southwest Florida. “With a one-to-four infant to teacher ratio, our staff will be able to provide hands-on care to the most vulnerable of children and help them to feel comfortable and safe in a new environment.”

All five centers of Child Care of Southwest Florida are accredited through the National Accreditation Commission for Early Learning Leaders and is a Gold Seal Quality Care Program through the Florida Department of Children and Families. Additionally, centers maintain five-star ratings through the Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida.
