Giving/Corporate Partnerships

Businesses Giving Back

Are you looking to promote your business while also helping out Child Care of Southwest Florida? You can! Participating in an event or fundraiser with us is an opportunity for your company to showcase your service and/or products to each event’s target audience. This will also enable you to enhance and strengthen your company’s brand awareness and reputation throughout the Southwest Florida community. Your participation will help empower young children and their families. Your continued sponsorship and partnership investments will assist us in continuing our mission to change lives every day. Investing in early childhood education can result in impressive economic benefits for children and taxpayers. By molding the minds of future upstanding citizens and their family members, crime costs, welfare costs, and profit from taxes due to higher wage earnings, directly benefit the community.

Here is how you can get involved:

Event Hosting and Sponsorships

You can host an event at your site. We will help you create and execute the event with volunteers, expertise, and inviting contacts.

United Mechanical, Inc. logo in blue and black

We are extremely fortunate to partner with the Fort Myers based company United Mechanical, Inc. Founded in 1987, United Mechanical specializes in residential, commercial, & governmental air conditioning, heating, and plumbing installation and services.

Their stellar business reputation clearly carries over into the community with their commitment to supporting early education, specifically with the importance of exposing children to critical thinking and innovation.

Our relationship started almost one year ago when an amazing group of employees and their family members volunteered at the United Way Day of Caring Campaign at Joseph H. Messina Children’s Center. The project involved the planning, purchasing and construction of a new irrigation system for their community garden. The garden helps children learn about irrigation, nature, exploration, and nutrition.

Their commitment to our local children is genuine, and they love to share their time, talent, and treasure in many ways throughout the year. During the holidays, United Mechanical, Inc. hosts the “Stockings for Kids Santa’s Workshop.” They collect thousands of toys, and assemble stockings to be delivered to kids in need at Christmas.

Most recently, United Mechanical initiated a collaborative science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program with Child Care of Southwest Florida. The HOME project (Helping Our Mini-Engineers) is designed to teach children about concepts within plumbing, electrical, and other related HVAC topics. United Mechanical Vice President Don Pine, a member of the board for Child Care of Southwest Florida, was instrumental in developing the HOME program.

Chris Hansen attributes the success of Child Care of Southwest Florida to the generosity of its sponsors.

It’s because of the generosity of our sponsors that we’re able to push our mission and vision for our community forward every day. The smiles on the faces of our children as they reap the rewards of our sponsors’ hard work,  financial support, and dedication is pure magic.
