Rotarians Empower Families With Preschool Education Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Fort Myers recently awarded Child Care of Southwest Florida, Inc. (CCSWFL) a $3,000 grant funding early childhood education (ECE) scholarships. Empowering families to provide for basic needs while their children receive a high-quality ECE is the mission of CCSWFL. We are grateful for this generous contribution, a true investment in preparing children for the future while empowering parents to excel at work and school.

The Rotary Club of Fort Myers is the original Rotary Club of Southwest Florida, founded more than 100 years ago, and the oldest and largest in Rotary International District 6960. Under the motto “Service Above Self,” their members volunteer in Lee and Collier County, throughout the state of Florida and internationally. They are dedicated to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace and eradicate polio. Through their local trust fund, The Rotary Club of Fort Myers, distributes more than $100,000 for many causes every fiscal year. Boasting club members of all ages, Rotary International is the world’s first service organization with 35,000 clubs worldwide and more than 1.2 million members.
